On the menu: Unleashed cards in \"Nexus Night\" foil, alt-art runes carried over from the Spiritforged set (SFD), and a brand-new chase card, Lee Sin, Centered<\/em>. Here's what it concretely changes for English-speaking players looking to complete their collection.<\/p>\n\n

Nexus Night Packs: an event program, not an in-store product<\/h2>\n

The Nexus Night Packs<\/strong> are not a product you can buy individually. They are promotional packs handed out during Nexus Night<\/em> evenings, the official Riftbound event program run at partner retailers of the game. The idea is the same as Friday Night Magic for MTG or Premier Events for One Piece: bring players into the store, energize the local community, and along the way offer exclusive cards you won't find in regular boosters.<\/p>\n

The contents of these packs evolve with each major release. Until now, they contained cards tied to previous sets. With the arrival of Unleashed, Riot is shifting the program to this new set: the included cards now come from Unleashed, with the exception of the runes \u2014 Fury, Calm, Mind, Body, Chaos, and Order \u2014 which are carried over from the Spiritforged<\/strong> set (code SFD) in their alt-art version. Good news for players who didn't get the chance to chase these runes during the Spiritforged cycle.<\/p>\n

An important detail: these packs are distributed while supplies last<\/em>, meaning until the store's allocated stock runs out. No official price, no guarantee of getting one \u2014 you have to attend the events, period.<\/p>\n\n

What the updated Unleashed pack contains<\/h2>\n

The refreshed pack combines two things: Unleashed cards with an exclusive \"Nexus Night\" foil<\/strong> treatment specific to the program, and the six alt-art runes inherited from Spiritforged. The Nexus Night foil treatment is described as specific to this promo program, but Riot doesn't precisely detail its visual rendering in official communications \u2014 so we'll just say it's a dedicated foil, without extrapolating.<\/p>\n

On the alt-art runes side, the set is complete across the game's six colors (Fury, Calm, Mind, Body, Chaos, Order), making it an interesting visual upgrade for a constructed deck without touching gameplay: the runes remain functionally identical, only the artwork changes.<\/p>\n

As a reminder, an Unleashed booster contains 7 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 foil slot, 2 Rare\/Epic\/Alt\/Overnumber\/Ultimate cards, and 1 Token\/Rune slot. The Nexus Night Packs are therefore complementary to boosters: they let you get your hands on alternate versions you won't pull from a regular display.<\/p>\n\n

Lee Sin, Centered: the pack's chase card<\/h2>\n

The piece that will draw all the attention is Lee Sin, Centered<\/strong>, a new version of the well-known League of Legends<\/em> champion. It's the official chase card of the Unleashed Nexus Night Packs \u2014 in other words, the rare and desirable card of the pack, the one that justifies running the event circuit to try and land it.<\/p>\n

Lee Sin is an iconic champion on the LoL side, and seeing him land as a chase in Riftbound fits the game's logic: capitalize on the League roster's recognition to give emotional weight to premium cards. Riot isn't disclosing the exact rarity or the pack's pull rate, and since Nexus Night Packs aren't sold individually, the secondary market will play its usual role for players who didn't get lucky enough to open one.<\/p>\n
