The ancient dragon was using Kaladesh to build something \u2014 a mysterious machine whose purpose remained unknown.<\/p>\n\n<h2>The Final Battle<\/h2>\n\n<p>The Gatewatch confronted Tezzeret in the depths of the Aether Spire, the Consulate's energy core.
